Our expert instructors provide both the hands-on training and knowledge needed to properly and safely operate a truck. With the aim of providing post-learning support, CTA’s Job Placement Program seeks to provide students with employment opportunities before graduation.

Programme Includes

  • Placement into the transport sector through recruitment: The CTA placement programmed aims to be a feeder of highly skilled, technical applicants for placement into the transport sector.

  • Incubation, funding and business development: South Africa has seen a surge of entrepreneurships in recent years. The CTA will proudly assist entrepreneurs in fund sourcing and business development strategies to assist growth and develop of these small businesses through professional business acumen and overall support.

Integration Strategy

Many training programs and academies end their involvement once training is complete. At CTA we implement a complete integration program to help our students with successful entry into the transport sector following successful completion of their studies.

Support Services

As part of our commitment to high quality standards, we provide customised support services to our learners. This approach ensures that each learner receives the kind of guidance and support that she/he needs to succeed in their studies. Since learner support is an on-going process, we stand by our students from pre-registration to post-qualification, with specific support services rendered at each of the following stages.

Get the information and advice needed for informed decision making. This service is offered to prospective learners and the general public on a continuous basis.

Learners are assisted through the RPL assessment procedures and registration process. Post-registration assistance includes studying techniques, first aid tuition, the provision of learning materials and facilities, and career planning.

Learner support and guidance continues after successful course completion. A short training course is provided to provide guidance on job interview tips and techniques, CV writing skills, and job search skills.

QCTO Accredited Assessment Centre

The CTA has been accredited by the QCTO as an assessment centre. The CTA is able to facilitate Final Examinations for the Truck Driver qualifications.
